How To Get Rid Of The Bad Smell In Your Kitchen Drain

There is nothing worse than the unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen sink. We all use chemical substances and products to get rid of that awful odor, forgetting that they harm our health.

With this simple trick you can do two things at once: you can get rid of the odor, and you’ll protect yourself from the harmful substances that all the cleaning products contain.

You will need:

– half cup of lemon juice
– half cup of baking soda

Put the lemon juice on the stove to heat and add the baking soda. Stir until the baking soda completely dissolves. Gradually add the baking soda and mix. If you’ll add the whole amount at once you’ll cause a reaction and foam will form.

Mix well and pour the mixture slowly down the sink. Wait a few minutes until the dirt moistens and then wash thoroughly the sink and drain with hot water.

You’ll notice that no unpleasant smell comes out of the sink. Instead of lemon juice, you can use apple cider vinegar (the same proportions and the same procedure).
