Cleaning grimy kitchen cabinets is quite hard, especially if those are there for a long time. Not to mention, we also need the right ingredients that are efficient. Making a little research, I find out that you can actually get rid of those greasy splatters with oil! Crazy, right? Well, I think there’s something to it because I tried it and it definitely works. Keep reading and see for yourself, a great alternative that it is natural and you only need 2 ingredients!
My cabinets were long overdue for a good cleaning. Furthermore, a considerable layer of grime had been accumulating on them that I hadn’t even noticed! Especially near the handles where grimy hands were touching them over and over. It was time to mix up a batch of this stuff and give it a go!
Hence, the ingredients you need for this method to work are:
– 1 part of coconut oil
– 2 parts of baking soda
1. All you have to do is mix 1 part coconut oil with 2 parts baking soda in a small bowl.
2. Then, you need to apply the mixture to your cabinets with a cloth or sponge, or as I like to do, use your hands. I think it’s easier to work it into all the nooks and crannies this way.
3. Now, for the last step, which is getting into the grooves that are harder to reach with my fingers, I like to use an old toothbrush.
Pretty impressive huh? When did cleaning kitchen cabinets become that easy? Well, using just the right ingredients, you can get them to shine. For me, it was pretty amazing seeing all the dirt that came off with the gunk remover.
