How to Remove The Most Common Type of Stains Out of Carpets

Follow these four simple steps to remove the most common type of stains out of your carpets.

STEP 1

Fresh stains
Remove any dirt from the carpet and then wipe the stain with a clean and dry cloth. If the carpet contains wool, it is important not to rub the stain. Synthetic fibers, in turn, can withstand a rough treatment.

Dry stains
Dissolve the stains with warm water without detergent. When the stain is well soaked wipe it with a clean and dry cloth.

STEP 2

If the stain is still there, use a stain remover product. Please carefully follow the dosage instructions. Gently wipe the stain with a cloth or a soft brush. It is important to thoroughly rinse the stain with a clean cloth soaked in hot water because the excess detergent can leave streaks and attracts dirt.

STEP 3

If none of the above methods work, use a special stain remover. Never use products containing chlorine, because they can discolor the carpet. Please carefully follow the dosage instructions. Always start cleaning the stain from the edge inward.

STEP 4

If none of the special products work, follow the stain removal guide below. Follow the instructions carefully and test before in a less visible area.
